Let me know the meaning of "nearby" with examples,

Where/when should we use this word.

Please explain the other words ends with "by" like "nearby".

Hi,

'Nearby' means 'not far away' and can be an (1) adverb or (2) an adjective.

We live nearby(1)in a road not far from where you live.

We live in a nearby (2) village quite close to where you live.
