Unit 6 — Possessive «s»

In this unit we are taking at look at the possessive «s». Can you see what it is used for?
Please, read this text to find out:

This is a photo of Anna, her husband and her children. Her husband's name is Frank. He's an engineer. Her daughter's name is Sarah. She's 19 and she's a student. Sarah's boyfriend is an accountant. His name is Jeremy.

So, why is the «s» sometimes red and sometimes blue?

I hope you are ready for the Simple Present which you will learn in Unit 7.

Hi Torsten.
I think the "S" in blue belons to the verb To Be. On tghe contrary the "S" in Red represents possession.
Regards.

The "s" in red colour is possessive s. I mean it refers that someone or something belows you.
The "s" in blue colour is the present tens, third person of the verbe "to be"
