Red <<s>> are used to indicate a possessive s. The blue one indicates an abbreviation for verb to be in the third person (he/she/it is). |

| The possessive "s" is in red color. The "s" which are in blue color indicate the short forms of the be-verbs. |

Hi Torsten and everyone, The blue one is "s" possessive which means it is belongs to someone or something and the red one is short form for "is" which is a verb. Thank you for lesson 6. Nasrin |

| I think that the red *s* is possessive one and the blue one represents the verb *to be* in the present simple whith he and she |

Dear Teacher’s
We improve our English by openly talk together. It’s my personal the best way to improve our English when we well know the alphabets a, b, c, d, e………………..and we able to make any single word by alphabets b.o.o.k, book. This is first step to learn English. If we depended just our teacher we have never improve our English.
Teacher is say: apple
Student say; apple
This time student is not known how its apple…? Why use the “e” end of the word. Teacher say apple and student speak apple. But if student learn to himself with kindness of teacher it’s easy way to improve his English. Computer is too best way for improve our English, net search, stories, type letter on Microsoft word etc.
Sorry for that If I am wrong, please you guide me how to improve our English.
Best regards,
Nice Rose |
