My answer for your question in unit 6 is: the red color show possessive "s" as: Her husband's name is Frank. Her daughter's name is Sarah. Sarah's boyfriend is an accountant.
the blue color show verb to BE as: He's an enginner. She's 19 and she's a student. His name is Jeremy.
Please, if I make

Hello evrybody;
in red, the "s" means an idea of "of": her husband's name is Frank = Frank is the name of her husband
in blue: the "s" is simply the verb "to be", in a contractive mode, is this word correct?

thank you and have a nice day Cool

Hi there teacher #334 (permalink) Fri Oct 02, 2009 4:45 am   Hi there teacher

Yes teacher i believe that the blue one shows us the short from from verb to be such like he is (he's) or it is (it's) and the red talks about possessive something like this is my father's car , my sister's boyfriend likes to come into our house every day.

My mother's friend found the job at my mother's company .

Thanks teacher i really enjoying my lessons may GOD keep blessing you every days.

Peace. charl

Hi,
I think that the blue is the contraction of "is" and the red is the possession.
