Hi dear professor! I just received and read the lesson four.
I might say that the read color represent possessive pronounce. Because it says that something belongs someone. Example:Peter's house (the house belongs peter)Torsten's class( the class belongs torsten) Peter's car( the car belongs Peter) and so on. And the color blue comes from the verb ''to be'' He's an engineer= He is an engineer. That's very good= That is very good. It's really hard= It is really hard and so on.
Talk to you real soon!!

dear Torsten,
the red "s"s refer to possessive pronoun while the blue "s"s refer to the short hand form of verb to be in the form of "is". although it was very easy to know the difference i wanted to contact you and thank you for you lessons

Hi, dear Torsten,

"s" in red shows the possessive
"s" in blue is the short form of verb "to be" at the third person, singular: he is, she is, it is.

My husband's car is blue.
He likes to drive.

Please, correct me.
See you soon,

Hi, dear teacher Torsten,

"s" in red shows the possessive : My husband's car is blue. (so, his car is blue).
"s" in blue is the short form of the verb "to be", the third person, singular: he is, she is, it is : He's good driver.

some times it can be a lil bit confusing anyway i think it goes like this:

1.RED "S": verb to be:(the abbreviation, the shortened form of the verb to BE) she is a rock star----she's a rock star

2.BLUE "S": possessive: her husband's name - her boyfriend's name

Hi Torsten !

The possessive "S" is in red and the "S" in blue is the contracted form of the "To Be" verb.

See you later .
