Dear Mr.Torsten I think the blue color is the short form of the verb TO BE ( he is), and the red color is the possessive form of the sentences. Best regards ARDIANA |

Hello Torsten,
I think the (s) in blue color are (((is))) in short form : He's ------------=He is. She's -----------=She is.
The (s) in the red color are a possessive.
Regards, Coconut. |

| The abbreviation of "He is and She is" are, He's and she's . And WHY it is written the same in a genitive form possessive? He is = he's - she is = she's just curios! Also what about hes' and shes' (pluralize forms). Many thanks! |

Hi Torsten and everybody,
The question is only one and many people here did the good job to answer it absolutely right. Besides, I have read somewhere that the possessive 's' can not be used in some cases, but now I can not remember those cases at all. Anybody here remembers about those cases. Can you share with me?
Thanks and best regards
