Hello to everyone,

I have just received your English lesson 26 and I saw that twice it was written "very test question" in the email. Well, what does it mean? What is the exact meaning of "very" in that case?

Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Francesco

I haven't seen the e-mail but I suspect it is a typo and should be 'every'.

Hello Bev,
Maybe it was something along these lines:
The very question you asked is ...

Then I guess it is an adjective and falls under definition #2 http://www.thefreedictionary.com/very

Well caught, Tort.

You could very well be right! (Though the phrase 'test question' rather than 'question' in the original would seem to me to indicate otherwise.)

Let's say you have never read the phrase 'I shrink to think'. To learn what it means you only have to click on the following link which you will find next to that very test question: I shrink to think.

As you can see, every test question also has A discussion where you can learn more about the words and expressions used in that very question.

Then Tort hit the nail on the head.

It's an adjective. The link is next to that actual question that you are answering.
