'Everything is Relative / It's All Relative' -- what does this commonly uttered phrase mean? I think it means that 'it's all in the eye of the beholder; everybody has a different opinion or viewpoint about things; everything is truly quantifiable in terms of individual perception.'

Do yo agree with my definition and all of my examples below to illustrate its usage?

Bob: 'She's pretty.'
Joe: 'Well, I think she's quite homely.'
Bob: 'It's all relative.'

Jake: 'I think Obama is a good president.'
Lou: 'I think he's terrible.'
Jake: 'Everything is relative.'

Paula: 'I think the greatest rock band was Styx.'
Patty: 'I don't. I think the J. Geils Band was.'
Paula: 'It's all relative.'

Thanks.

It looks as if you've been at the Urban Dictionary. That particular website isn't always reliable, but it seems to be a reasonable definition of this phrase.
