Living in the most advanced age of technologies, humans have benefited from computers. We cannot deny the fact that computers play a crucial role in our various aspects of our lives. Many difficult tasks can be done with the help of computers. However, this phenomenon is leading to the problem of unemployment, which we are facing nowadays.
To begin with, computers are commonly used by many companies. For instance, a car manufacturing company uses a machine, which is controlled by computer, to assemble cars, as they believe that computers work more effectively and productively. In the prominent case, these days many schools use computers teaching, instead of teachers. Similarly, these days we can see that there are many automatic machines that replaced the workforces, such as many travel agents use computer to make the booking service becomes more accessible. In addition to this, most of the unskilled labors in the factory are usually replaced by machines.
On the other hand, this replacement causes many serious issues such as a higher unemployment rate. Firstly, when people are laid off a job, they usually became unemployment. This may result in a lower standard living of people. Furthermore, this can affect the community in terms of higher crime rate. This is due to people not being able to earn income to support their family. Hence, they end up committing crime. As a whole, countries cannot expect to develop further because there will be a higher expenditure spent on unemployment issues.
To recapitulate, computer may be an indispensable tool. Nevertheless, I believe computers can never the jobs, such as sculpturing and pottering due to the traditional skills required.
