Hi!

If anyone said "are you busy" to me. Then how would I reply that guy. I mean solid answer other then just saying "No or Yes"?

How can I give the right answer for "Are you busy"? #2 (permalink) Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:34 am   How can I give the right answer for "Are you busy"?

It would depend on a number of factors (not least being whether you actually were busy or not!) so here are some possible responses:
I'm rushed off my feet.
I haven't had time to stop all day.
Yes right now, sorry.
I am at the moment.
I'm very busy right now.
I'm busy, but did you want something specific?
A little busy, but did you want something?
I'm quite busy. Do you need my help with something?
I can stop if you need something important.
I'm (explanation of what you are busy doing). Why? Did you want something?
I can make some time if you need me to do something.
I'm not doing anything i can't put off until later.
I'm almost finished.
Not really. Did you need something?
Not at all. I'm just keeping myself occupied.
