Well, a few weeks ago I bribed my young nephew to tidy the mess that he'd made with the promise of a bar of chocolate if he did a good enough job. Do you consider that to be illicit or corrupt?

I wouldn't even consider it bribery. It's pay or a reward. |

You will find a definition of bribery in post #2 which clearly states that bribery does not have to be corrupt.
