When we are leaving somebody, which word is more appropriate to say, is it goodbye, bye, bye-bye, see you, ta-ta or something else?

It depends on who you are leaving and what your relationship with them is like, Tiong.

Goodbye or bye are almost always appropriate, so if you aren't sure, use those.
See you and bye-bye are less formal and often used between friends.
Ta-ta isn't as prevalent as it used to be. In this area it seems that it is only used when adults are talking to young children.

Hi, I am very satisfied with your thoroughly explanation. I also appreciate you for linking me the short film (Oliver--Be Back Soon) and some other related you tube. I have learned three more words which have the same meaning as goodbye from the film, those are cheerio, farewell and so long. I also find the films are very helpful in improving my English. Thank you very much. thank you.

Hello Karekawael,

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry but I don't understand what 'dialogue page' you are looking for.
