Topic: Some business now say that no one can smoke cigarettes in any of their offices, Some governments have banned smoking in all public places. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer.
Whether people can smoke cigarettes in their offices and public places or not is a considerable controversy. Some people believe that they have right to smoke everywhere and whenever they want. However, as far as I am concerned, smoking in the offices and public places can affect other people’s health and destroy public property.
The first reason for my belieF is that OF people’s health. Tobacco leads to the most common diseases affecting the heart and the lungS that PROVE smoking is A major risk factor for heart attacks, cancer…… It is not only immediateLY affecting people who smoke, it also indirectly influenceS other people who inhale smoke. It is too toxic to smoke in public places such as: bus stopS, parkS, cinemaS AND especially in hospitalS where has many illness peopleTHERE ARE MANY SICK PEOPLE. For instance, the weak who inhale smoke in the crowded places cannot breath and feEL faint. Therefore, It is noT good to smoke in all public places.
Besides s Smoking affectS people’s health, it can destroy public property. In the offices, there are many important information that is necessary for their jobs. When you make a mistake AND CAUSE A fire BY smoking, it will burn and destroy all OF THE important detailS you need. For example, a man who works at A petroleum company makes a fire from MIGHT START A FIRE BY smoking, so it will destroy and burn up this company. To insure people and public property saving, businessES should forbidden from smoking in the offices.
For all THE reasons discussed above, I strongly believe that smoking in any of the offices and all public places should be banned by governments. It is a great idea for saving people’s health and THE public’s property. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Not bad Hyukie, but you should do more reading to improve your sentence structure.

Hi Hyukie, I thought that paragraph 1 might has a topic sentence that expresses your opinion clearly. Like that,
"Whether people can smoke cigarettes in their offices and public places or not is a considerable controversy. Some people believe that they have right to smoke everywhere and whenever they want. For reasons that smoking can affect other people’s health and destroy public property, I absolutely agree with the law that bans smoking in the officers and public spaces."
hope this helps something :D |
