Hello,

What is the difference between "That monkey is not longer wild" and "That monkey is no longer wild"? As far as I know, "no longer" is an idiom according to Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary online and is used correctly in the latter sentence. As regards the former sentence "That monkey is not longer wild",
I am not sure whether it is used correctly.

Thank you.

Best wishes,
Bhikkhu1991a.
