Can I say "greenhouse-grown vegetables" in place of "greenhouse vegetables"?

Thank you, Mordant.

1. greenhouse-grown vegetables
2. greenhouse vegetables
Is #2 more common?

My guess is that #2 is more common just because it's shorter. However, #1 is not wrong.

I agree with Jamie. Where something is already abundantly clear, people tend to find the shorter version more natural. Everyone knows greenhouses are used to grow vegetables, so "greenhouse vegetables" is as clear as "garden vegetables." Rarely would people say "garden-grown vegetables," but it wouldn't be wrong.
