Dear Kitos,
Please help me to correct my essay. Thank you.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should begin learning a foreign language as soon as they start school. Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.

------------------------------
Nowadays, being able to speak a second language is more and more important. Hence, children should begin learning it as early as possible.

First of all, the children who can speak a foreign language fluently, have many advantages. Several languages, especially English, have become global languages. Many people all over the world use them in a lot of fields, such as science, business or education. Most of the newest researches are publish in English, Spanish or French. If young children are taught these languages from an early age, they can use them skillfully when they enter high schools, universities or get higher education. Therefore, they will be able to access an enormous of documents on the Internet or from books in other languages that can support them in learning and acquiring necessary knowledge.

Furthermore, language acquisition is actually a process that the students imitate the way native speakers say and write. Young children do not have the concept of their mother tongues and foreign languages. Everything that the adults talk to them is often new. Therefore, they are interested in mimicking what their parents and their teachers say. Hence, they can learn another language in the same way that they use to learn their first language. This is the best and fastest method to study a second language.

Finally, young children have the ability to memorize everything quickly. Different from adult, young children's brains are in developing stage. Their cells have capable of reproducing themselves. Thus, if the youngsters study something from the lessons that their teachers teach, or from watching videos and colorful picture books, they can remember them very fast and can remain in their long term memories. It can help them to have a wide vocabulary, a lot of sentences and structures in another language. Hence, they can speak them more naturally.

In short, for the reasons above, I totally agree with the idea that young children should begin learning a second language from the early age. This helps them to study it more quickly and more naturally. When they grow up, they are able to master that new language.
