Working with your hands or your head.

Topic. Some people want to have a job where they can make or do things with their hands. Other people prefer having a job where they can work with their heads and think. Which type of job do you prefer?

Some people like to work with their hands, but many others engage in working with their heads. As I like to pursue my career as an analyst, a person who engages his life in number, data, examining, researching, and analyzing, I like to work with my head, and think rather than doing job with my hands.

To begin with, working with head gives me great opportunities to use my knowledge and experience to earn money. As I have engaged in academic study for many years, my knowledge is invaluable, and my ability to calculate, organize, and analyze information is precious. Working with hands does not require of me to use much of my knowledge, and, in my opinion, it will waste my years of studying.

Secondly, working with head gives me opportunity to continue to improve my knowledge and my skills. In such jobs, I have to face various changing data, numbers and problems which not only require my already-owned knowledge, but also require me to learn and acquire changing information in order to give good solutions to problems. Besides, working with head, and facing problems frequently will increase my insightful view, and my ability to solve problems.

Finally, in my opinion, working with head is a soft job that may not be challenging but safe and secure. It is very dangerous for workers who use machines such as saw, and sew, or build house, as they can be injured if making any minor mistake. Working at office, and on numbers is monotonous but very safe. I am afraid of becoming a burden to my family as they have to take care of me when I am injured more than daily facing monotonous numbers.

For all the reasons above, I choose working with my head as my future job rather than working with my hands. I believe working in jobs that require knowledge and thinking is appropriate with me. I can improve my knowledge and have a secure life.

To begin with, working BY USING MY head gives me great opportunities to use my knowledge and experience to earn money. As I have BEEN engaged in academic study for many years, my knowledge is invaluable, and my ability to calculate, organize, and analyze information is precious. Working with MY hands does not require of me to use much of my knowledge, and, in my opinion, it will waste my MANY years of studying.

Secondly, working with MY head gives me THE opportunity to continue to improve my knowledge and my skills. In such jobs, I have to face CONSTANTLY changing data, numbers and problems which not only require my already-owned knowledge, but also require me to learn and acquire changing information in order to give good solutions to problems. Besides, working with MY head, and facing problems frequently will increase my insightful view, and my ability to solve problems.

Finally, in my opinion, working with ONES head is a soft job that may not be challenging but IS safe and secure. It is very dangerous for workers who use machines such as sawS, and sewING MACHINES, or build houseS, as they can be injured BY making any minor mistake. Working IN AN office, and on numbers, is monotonous but very safe. I am afraid of becoming a burden to my family, as they WOULD have to take care of me when I am IF I WERE INJURED DOING MANUAL WORK.

For all the reasons above, I choose working with my head as my future job rather than working with my hands. I believe working in jobs that require knowledge and thinking MORE ARE appropriate TO me. I can improve my knowledge and have a secure life.
