Hello Hatem Elnagar, welcome to our forum and many thanks for your question. What exactly do you mean by 'learning phonetics'. Are you referring to the phonetic transcription that is given in most dictionaries? By the way, please note the correct spelling of the word 'pronunciation'.
Many thanks, Torsten
PS: Here is a definition of the term 'phonetics'. Is this what you mean?
Phonetics (from the Greek: φωνή, phōnē, "sound, voice", pronounced /fəˈnetɪks/) is a branch of linguistics that comprises the study of the sounds of human speech.
It is concerned with the physical properties of speech sounds (phones): their physiological production, acoustic properties, auditory perception, and neurophysiological status. Phonology, on the other hand, is concerned with abstract, grammatical characterization of systems of sounds.

| Thanks Mr Torsten, yes, i mean phonetic transcription and i'd like to learn it to know the right pronunciation of any word. You asked me before why i want to improve my English and this is my answer: I'm a student in the facuilty of vet.med and i really hope to work in England or in the USA after graduation so i must speak English fluently. I think that my future will be better there. Also i chat with many friends who are native speakers and i'd like to speak with them fluently when they visit me in Egypt or when they call me. Many thanks, Hatem |
