newspapers and magazines is the best way to learn other countries?
==========================
As live in the world of informationization, we always have numerous of ways to obtain various information. Lots of people are keen on what happened out of our country, so they chose to read some newspapers and magazines, and they believe that it is the best way of learning about a foreign country. However, some people cast doubt on this viewpoint. From my point view, although newspapers and magazines may help, I still believe that to say that the best way of learning about a foreign country is an overstatement, and I have several reasons to support my statement.

It goes without saying that newspapers and magazines always content oceans of information, such as sport news, amusement news, which can let people learn what happen recently. But when compare with other media, such as the Internet, the information contented in the newspapers and magazines are limited. For example, we can find some video about other countries, by seeing these videos, we can know the country in a more vivid way, and we can also immerse ourselves totally in that country. It is a kind of experience what newspapers and magazines can’t supply to us.

Moreover, newspapers or magazines always content articles, which is added author’s own comprehension. As the old saying goes, “ a thousand individuals have thousand Hamlets.” In other words, these articles may effect our own subjective judgment. For instance, because of some political reasons, some Asia countries were described bad in western countries’ newspaper, if people read these newspapers then judge some Asia countries without there own subject judgment, they will make a mistake.

Finally, I’d like to say that I think the best way of learning about a foreign country is travel to that country by yourself. Only when you walk in the cities of these countries, and communicate with the local resident, you will find the true life of the country. For instance, several years ago, I traveled to Japan with my friends, we found that Japanese are friendly and sincere to every visitors, and the country is so beautiful. All we have saw is different from the information we have learned from newspapers in my country. At that time, I decide to travel around the world, so that I can learn different cultures all by myself instead of reading the newspapers.

In summary, I think reading newspapers and magazines is not the best way to learn other countries. While visit the country is no doubt the best way to learn about it

Not bad Alex, but your sentence structure cries for improvement. Read some of those newspapers and magazines to increase your knowledge of the English language.
