Cuold you tell me please, Why some people pronounce The word "often" with "t" and some without "t". Which way is right?

The word "often" can be pronouced with 't' or without it, both pronounciations are correct.It's a matter of American vs British pronounciation.

Hi,

Aside from the difference quoted above, I would say that 'often' without 't' is more common in British English. It follows the same pattern with the verb 'soften' = to make soft.
