Many people love to do all things by hands. Others use machines to do most of their works. Which way do you choose?

With the dramatically developing technologies, we now can have any machines to do most of our jobs. It makes everything become more easier and faster whereas some still think that do all things by hands is better. It is the topic which is being debated throughout the last decade. I think it is better to have an overall look at the positive and negative sides of two choices about whether we should do works by hands or using machines to do it.

On one side, by using hands to do all tasks, you will feel so great because your hard work bears fruit, which cannot have when you use the machines to do all tasks. The harder you try, the more enjoyable you are when you finished the last step to complete the products. Let take me as an example. I used to have chance to experience a working day as a farmer in my countryside. You have to get up at five o’clock and work until noon. After a quick break to have lunch, you need to keep working until dawn. I worked only one day and I was exhausted. From that day on, I always treasure all things that I have because I know how hard it is for other people to make them for me. However, with a complicated task, you will need many hours or even many days to do that. In our business world, time is money so the more time you need to accomplish, the less benefit you gain. It is against the only aim of doing business: to gain as much benefit as possible

On the other side, using machine to do all taks is becoming the trend of all countries in the world. Within a day with only three machines, you can do the job of all fifty employees in three days. The machines never feel tired, they do not need time to rest and always do the works with high and precise accuracy. When asked about why people work so hard to earn money, all say that they want to enjoy their lives. But how can it be possible when you have to work so late to finish up the job, or spend many hours just doing the housework and cooking? That is why machine was first invented. It is used to serve our needs such as production line in industry, washing machine and dishwasher to do the housework, and even microwave to takes less time to cook a delicious food for a whole family. Since, you can have more free time to do whatever you want. But using machines all the time still leads to a very big and serious problem: jobless. More and more people are being laid off because the machines can do all the taks now. Therefore, the company start firing more and more people to reduce cost and increase the benefit. If this keeps going on, one near days in the future, I believe that there will be more than fifty percentage of population in the work will be jobless.

Taking into consideration of all sides, I will choose to use machines to do the works because they make our lives much more convenient and relaxed.
