Leaders like John F. Kennedy and Martin Lurther King have made important contributions to the people of the US. Name another world leader you think is important. Give specific reasons for your choice.
World leaders, such as John F. Kennedy and Martin Lurther King, have made many important contributions to their own nations and also the world. In my opinion, Nelson Mandela is one of the most greatEST world leaders because of his perseverant PERSEVERANCE, effortS, and success in bringing AN end TO apartheid.
First, Nelson Mandela holds a key role in ending the era of apartheid. From a very young age, Nelson Mandela started his movement against the racial discrimination in his country, South Africa. In the 1950s, he led South Africans TO act against apartheid in a way which is called non-violent resistance. Although the non-violent resistance was not enough for the end of apartheid, it received a lot of attention from other countries and truly inspired South Africans to carry on the work to gain equality for all of them(.) despite races. Finally, in the early 1990s, after years in prison, Nelson Mandela was released(,) and he succeeded in the negotiations that led to multi-racial democracy in South Africa, ending the decades of apartheid here.
Secondly, Nelson Mandela possesses a greatly persevERING personality. In 1962, he was AGAIN arrested and sentenced to life in prison. Nelson Mandela had to serve 27 years in prisons and it was only NOT until 1990 that he was released. Although being in prison for such a long time, Nelson Mandela still kept his hopeS alive and persevered with his work to create a South Africa where black and white people all have the same rights. His perseverance motivates many young minds and lays as a bright example of an unyielding leader for them to follow.
In short, among many world leaders, Nelson Mandela is always the one who I admire most(,) because his success and perseverance HAD a really significant impact on the movements of human rights and of course on generations of people. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Good morning Hatung.
