ESL/EFL Test #121 "English Grammar Tenses", answer 6

Do you ever get tired of answering the same questions every day?

Correct answer: (c) Do you ever

Your answer was: correct
_________________________

as I saw the verb "get" so I chose "Do you ever" but I usually meet the structure: "have you ever done something" to ask about an experience.
Is it Ok if I say: "Have you ever got tired of answering the same questions every day?"

Hi Water Melon,

There is a slight difference between: Have you ever got and Do you ever get? In the first one the question refers to the time up till now and the second is used in a general all time context.

Hi Teodora

Do you have a specific sentence (or sentences) that you're concerned about? Or do you mean that you don't understand the usage with the simple present tense in general?
