Some children begin helping out with household chores as soon as they are old enough, while others may never lift a finger. I personally feel that children should pitch in around the house as soon as possible. This teaches them the value of work and gives them a feeling of accomplishment and responsibility. Children who never have to assist around the house often become spoiled and grow up expecting others to do work for them. Parents may think they are helping their kids by doing their work for them, but in the long run, this is not the case.

Hi Coolapple,

Thanks for your message. I thought it was a very good contribution. Just one point about the pronunciation of 'chores'. A general comment is that you should try to finish your sentences on a falling note. For example: 'may never lift a finger' 'accomplishment and responsibility'. Aside from that -well done.

You mean at the end of each sentence I should lower my tone? Thanks for your suggestion, although it's a little bit late:D
