Dear Chen (I take it this is your first name?), One of the good things of the English language is that one word usually has various meanings - so having learned one word you can express different ideas. However, you have to learn those words always in a context, for example 'take lunch', 'take over a company', 'take a decision' and so on. You seem to have access to the internet so visit our forum often and you are bound to pick up a lot of new useful phrases. Where exactly in China are you from? Is your mother tongue Mandarin?

| Nihao Lee Chen, I am from China too and if I am right, we are from the same province, Anhui, aren't we? I've been to the Great Mountain Huangshan before, because my cousin works in SuoDao hotel in TunXi. :D |

Good Morning Mr. Torsten,
I have also facing problem with phrases as i don't use frequently that's why when we hear such we become in amazing situation. And sometimes we also get confused by that as I heard we say "Power went off" when there is a power gone but we not say "Power has come" when it comes.
