Hi,

When I start speeking on perticular subject, I don't face any communication problem. But when I try to express general things i.e. while doing day to day conversations I will stuck up and cann't complete my speech. Could any body tell me what could be the reason and how to over come this problem.

Regards,

Day-to-day conversations seem easier, but are in fact harder than speech on a specific subject. You see, when you discuss a particular subject, your brain needs only to focus on delivering a certain point. But day-to-day conversations involve more than just getting the point across. It also involves building a relationship, and that is tricky in a second language because of the cultural differences.
One good thing to do about it is to watch American TV with subtitles and write down an expression or a word the usage of which was new to you. And then try to practice the same or the next day in your daily communication with people. Also, don't worry - the most important thing is to be a nice, genuine person - everything else is secondary. :)
