Alfee, the secret to becoming a good writer is first to become a good reader. There are hundreds of stories and essays here in our Forum for you to spend your time reading. Believe me, you will improve at an astonishing rate if you were to do as I suggest. Concentrate on the structure of the sentences more than anything else. A well written sentence makes absolute sense to a good reader. The whole point of writing is to make sure that the reader immediately understands what you are "saying." Do as I ask and you will thank me for saving you hours of time, and lots of money that you would otherwise have spent on books.

| thanks and I will try it. Although it's sort of like a task needs drudgery, my voracity more than make up for that. |
