I am not sure what to choose(- I am surprised but I really enjoying English (food/meal).
The (food/meal) in my country is delicious.
Too many people eat ready (food/meal) which they buy from supermarket.

Too many people eat ready meals....

The difference is that 'food' is a general term for items that you consume, whereas meal refers to a set dish.
