Hi,

If somebody say 'I am far from satisfied with your result', do they mean they're completely not satisfied or very satisfied? Somehow I feel it can be understood in both ways.

Thank you very much.

If they are far from satisfied then they are not at all satisfied/ very unsatisfied.

Hi,

Note the difference between 'dissatisfied' and 'unsatisfied'. 'Unsatisfied' could refer to appetite where someone isn't getting enough food to satisfy their appetite. 'Dissatified' suggests that you don't think the standard/level you expected has been reached and that would cover the comment: 'I am far from satisfied with your result'
