Cigarettes has become an indispensable element of life for majority of human beings. Have you ever wonder why people resort to cigarettes even though they know its side effects? There are, naturally, many reasons for smoking but three of them should be pointed out carefully: the addicted think that it reduces tension, the content of cigarettes that leads to become an addict, the pressure of peer group and family.

To begin with tension reduction, it can easily be said that numerous people have been thinking that cigarettes is an escaping way from the obstacles, and responsibilities of daily routine. Psychologically, when they feel nervous, the desire for lightining up a cigarettes become irresistable. Inasmuch as daily life embodies a lot of stress creating elements, there are always cop out for people who look for excues to smoke. To demonstrate, at bus stops people smoke in order to reduce the tension caused by waiting for the bus.

When it comes to cigarettes' being addictive, it should be emphasized that, unfortunately, 66% of people who try it just for once become an addict. The component of cigarettes avoid to resist the temptation for lightining up a cigarette. Nicotine, which is a basic addictive substance, causes brain wants it constantly. Consequently, no matter what one says with regard to quiting this nasty habit, it is absolutely not easy in spite of improvements in medical science.

As far as peer group and family pressure is taken into a consideration, it should be clarified that people, especially young people, can easily be affected by behaviours exhibited by their friends and family. Recent studies indicates that people whose at least one parent smoke have more inclination to smoke. Besides this, cigarettes are highly common among young people and it gives rise to smoke for non-smokers.

All in all, it is an indisputable fact that cigarettes have adverse effects on the health of smokers and non smokers. Furthermore, actually, it does not help to lessen pressure on one's shoulder. In this respect, smoking is hardly repairable danger for one's health and unnecessary expenditure. Thus, there is no wise reason for smoking.
