Hi,

There're 3 people: A, B and C. B and C are both cousins of A. B's father is a brother of A's father and C's mother is a sister of A's mother. C says to B:

I am her cousin by the maternal side while you are by the paternal side.

Do you find the saying okay?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

I would say: On my Mother's side/On my Father's side.
