What is better, GRE® or GMAT®?

Hi ,I am doing MBA now.I heard that some universities accept GRE scores for doing PHD on few areas(as like Operational research).I want do phd on such subjects for which GRE is applicable.Can somebody name the univs and couses applicable to this category.Useful links may also do.

There is no general rule. Your best option is to visit the web sites of the Ph.D. programs you wish to attend.
