I'm not clear what you mean. What's the difference between my version:

could probably have got and yours:

isn't the 'could' repeated incorrectly? Could probably have gotten.

??

Do sequence of tenses rules apply here?

If present perfect tense in the principal clause (they could probably have got a better price for their house) is used
then past perfect tense in the subordinate clause (If they had waited another month) should be used?

You've misinterpreted the second clause - it is not in the present perfect tense because of the verb "could".
The whole sentence is the past unreal conditional:

If they had waited another month, they could probably have got a better price for their house.
