1- I have a question hope I find a solution to it.

Michael is usually punctual so I'm surprised that he's late.
use Sad like)

I'm surprised that Michael's not here yet because it's ...... late.

This would be another way of saying the same sentence using the word 'like':

I'm surprised that Michael's not here yet because it's not like him to be late.
