Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?

Sharing main sources of the world among rich and poor nations has been long running issue so far. Some countries have enormous opportunities to establish wealthy and democratic society though others have yet to solve some basic and essential problems such as famine, man-made natural disasters or widespread illeteracy among people. In this case, everybody asks one the same question – should wealthy nations really share their commodities among poorer nations? Should everything in the world be given to all nations?

Giving aids, loans or other help to poorer nations can create harmony among all nations, make them join in ever-lasting friendship. Millions of people would be saved from death in backward countries, especially in Africa. Hundreds of national economic and political crises would be avoided with the help of giant funds established by wealthy nations. However, those all can only be called “help” not “obligation”. No nation or no country can be required to share its pocket, unless it agrees to do so. Thus, I, first and foremost, think that wealthy nations should be encouraged to give aids, but cannot be forced to provide something by international organizations.

Moreover, if international safety organizations, such as NATO, try to provide poorer nations with security, independence and sovereignty, I believe, any nation is able to cope with most problems. For example, in the past, Japan was considered as a country with no chance to develop to today's level. Lack of crucial sources was the biggest drag on their improvement in the international economic level. But, Japan is now one of the seven most developed countries of the world with more than 30.000 dollars of GDP (gross domestic product) per capita. Because it showed magnificent adabtibility and intelligence in developing the country.

In conclusion, I think help from wealthy countries is very positive gesture to develop poorer countries, although, it cannot be a mere factor of improvement of the Third World, furthermore, no nation should be required to share its wealth among others.
