We are witnesses of significant changes in surrounding world and food is no exception. From my point of view, modern ways for preparing meal create different world. In fact, using new technologies in cooking we save our free time, we can economise our money and also, you can taste different cuisines from around the world.
First of all, modern technologies in cooking are much more workable and quick. As a result, modern cookers do not spend significant amount of time cooking something and nowadays visiting restaurant we can start eating soup in 5 minutes after we made an order. For example, when I was a child a cooking of even simple meal took more than 1 hour.
Today a lot of fast food restaurants work 24 hours per day and in these places food is much cheaper than in conventional restaurants. As a result, students can save much more many than it was 20 years ago. This trend is connected with fact that cooking fast food meal is very cheap and quick process.
At the time, when my parents were students they did not have any opportunities to taste Chinese or Japanese food. However, present generation know about traditional food of different nations more than when ever before. These changes have become possibly because of modern technologies in cooking. For instance, last models of ovens can opportunity to cook special Chinese cake which requires special temperature during baking.
Modern world is a very changeable system and new opportunities of preparing meal are also very dynamic and these changes can save our time and money. Finally, we can taste different cuisines from even very remote parts of the world.
