Hi Diamanta,

On is the only preposition that makes sense in this sentence. From that moment on means continuing from that moment - from that moment onwards.

This must be one of the many exceptions to the 'rule' about not adding any unnecessary prepositions. I never liked that rule, anyway, since I find that these little big words can add so much colour to the language, especially in speech.
