Hi,

I've come across the name the European Resolution Discovery Service in the following context:"The European Resolution Discovery Service (ERDS) aims to provide EuropeanaConnect with the basic functionality of resolving European persistent identifiers by delegating queries to the appriopriate national resolver that is responsible for this namespace. Although many different kinds of persistent indentifiers are in use, European and the ERDS focus primarly on Uniform Resource Names."

I don't understand clearly meanings of the nouns involved in the conversion as well as their order. Is it possible to say in other words that it is the European service which finds out / opens identification?
