| Jupiter, respectfully I'd say that I can't even understand the sentence. Can you tell me what it is supposed to mean? |

hi jamie (k)
In this sentence I want to mean I'm cleverer than you or You are not as clever as me. Can that sentence make any sense?

. No, the original does not make sense, Jupiter. Your last post contains perfectly satisfactory forms:
I'm cleverer than you. You are not as clever as me.
What more do you need? . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

yes there is an error in this sentence it should be written this way
I'm a clever man, you are not as clever as i am
You cannot use "you are not as clever as me" because the word "me" is an objective pronoun and can only be used as an object in a sentence. Whenever you use me as a subject it's a wrong grammar because me is an Objective case pronoun, Whenever you use the word "I" you should use a singular verb "am" it's a Subject verb agreement rule
These are the examples of Objective pronouns You, me, her, him them, us, whom
These are the examples of Subjective pronouns I, you, he, she, it, they, we, who |

. I think you're too late, Aulliver-- that posting is more than two years old. No doubt Jupiter's English is much better now. . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
