(a) sleeps (b) sleeping (c) slept English Language Tests, Intermediate level ESL/EFL Test #263 "Irregular Verbs Test (11)", answer 6 I slept for 12 hours yesterday. I was exhausted! Correct answer: (c) slept _________________________ The sleeping happened yesterday ergo we have to use simple past tense. 3 forms are: sleep, slept, slept _________________ We always deceive ourselves twice about the people we love - first to their advantage, then to their disadvantage.
