Dear learner, It is a grammar rule that we should use DOES as an auxiliary verb for 3rd person singular: I DON'T know. You DON'T know. He/ She DOESN'T know. We DON'T know. You DON'T know. They DON'T know. By the way, if you think about it, you will see that "S" always appears in 3rd person singular: IS - haS - playS/ doES... - waS, etc.

Why can not we use Past Simple Tense, I didn't know what the future holds? I answered correctly on this question, but do not understand the use of Present Simple here. Could somebody, please, explain? _________________ Everything happens for a reason |
