Hi
there seems to be some kind a contradiction in the phrase above as she can't be secretive and on the other hand she won't speak behind your back, ... does it make sense?
Thanks

Meaning #2 (permalink) Sun Feb 12, 2006 20:36 pm   Meaning

Hi again,

This is the whole point - she doesn't like to talk about you behind your back precisely because she doesn't like being secretive. Wherever there is an idiom in a sentence I try in these tests to indicate its meaning in another part of the sentence.
