Dear teachers,

Do we use the other phrases? Are they existing?

Sorry I didn't mention the expressions. I was making the test 'Responses 3' and I was wonder about these phrases:
(a) There's no finding.
(d) There's no seeing.
Thank you!

Thanks for stating which test. That helped.

No, those are not phrases in general usage.

So, we can't use these two expressions: 'There's no finding' and
'There's no seeing' because they don't mean anything?!

You could use them, but only where the usage is literal, and they aren't a common place expression in the same way as 'there's no knowing...' is:

"With some people, there's no seeing what's staring them in the face." They can't see what's staring them in the face.

It's so uncommon that I can't even think of a sentence where 'there's no finding... could sensibly be used.

Hi Margoto,

Have a look at these two:

There's no seeing sense as far as he's concerned = He simply will not see sense or be sensible.

There's no finding gold in these hills, that's just a fairy story = You will never find gold in these hills, that's just a made up story, it's not real.
