Personally, I would have to say that the Apollo 11 mission is the historical event that I’m interested in most. There are a couple of reasons to name.
First of all, I’m so fascinated in the mission because I think it is a memorable milestone in the history of exploration. When the astronaut first set his foot on the moon, it meant that human race accomplished a greatest technological achievement of all time. Also, the geological samples brought back by the astronauts provided foundation for future research.
In addition, believe it or not, it’s a motivator for me to study hard. As an amateur astronomer, I hope that one day I could have the ability and opportunity to make contribution to this area. Whenever I’m in difficulties, this enthusiasm gives me courage to go on.
So, that’s why I consider this event to be meaningful.

First of all, I’m so fascinated in the mission because I think it is a memorable milestone in the history of exploration. When the astronaut first set his foot on the moon, it meant that THE human race HAD accomplished THE greatest technological achievement of all time. Also, the geological samples brought back by the astronauts provided foundationS for future research.

In addition, believe it or not, it’s a motivator for me to study /hard/EVEN HARDER/. As an amateur astronomer, I hope that one day I /could/MIGHT/WILL/HOPE TO/ have the ability and opportunity to make SOME contribution to this area. Whenever I’m in difficulties, this enthusiasm gives me courage to go on.
So, that’s why I consider this event to be meaningful.
