Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The way a person dresses can reflect this person’s personality. Use specific reasons to support your answer.
Well, personally, I don’t share the opinion that CLOTHES are reflections of people’s personalities. There are several reasons I’d like to point out. Firstly, people tend to tailor their dress to their culture norms, say suits in an office, shorts at the beach. Inside this framework, most people choose clothing based on comfort or on how that clothing is likely to be perceived by others, not on their personal preferences. What’s more, most of time, people get dressed according to their moods rather than their personalities. At least, I can attest to that. When I’m happy, I usually choose to wear vivid colors, with funny prints. If I feel down, however, I tend to put on something black or brown, unconsciously. That shows how I feel, and has nothing to do with my personality. In a nutshell, as I see it, the way people DRESS doesn’t necessarily reflect their personalities. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Kitos. _________________ Keep it simple ...
