Nevertheless, Don't worry, I'm a very practical guy, and I've installed a software named GetRight (www.getright.com) to get across that. The solution this program have is that it can download a file using multiple connections, each downloading its own part. That did the trick - the file was okay. First problem solved. Than, after unzipping it and installing it (though it had a single minutiae problem with flash.ocx which can be IGNOREd during installation), the software loads, gives you a product number and asks for a password. Since I remembered the long discussion about the password requested and the long delay from GRE bible and the fact that my GRE is in few days (I bought it mainly to practice tests), I sent them (GRE bible) an aggressive email demanding my password or my money back (About 1 hour after purchase). The next morning, To my surprise, I received a reply with a password. I entered it and everything worked. All in all, I wasn't deceived.
So, I'll tell you a little about the software.
First, don't expect something fancy - the fact that the software size is 5MB can clearly explain it. Yet, it is really a good GRE learning tool (for me). For a long time I've been searching for a good way to learn those dreadful words of the GRE. This software clearly have it. Although running through a low-end flash (Macromedia) presentations, it has a good way to teach you words: All the Peterson's 3000 word list is in it, divided into 100 lessons. Each lesson (30 words) is consisted of learning (scrolling through the words, explanations and sentences) and playing (matching, multiple choices questions, flash cards and more). IT IS REALLY EASY AND NICE WAY TO LEARN IT. I've been playing with the word list for about 2 hours and already finished 4 lessons (120 words). Although I learned many words by now for the GRE, this, I think, rise above all the other methods.
Also, there are a lot of math (quantitative) questions in it. So, it can be a good practice to math. Also, all those questions (quantitative and verbal) are compiled to some random Computer Adaptive (parhaps not adaptive) tests.
I think a good way to explain the software is that it gives you an easy way to practice words and math.
Hope this really long explanation helps some of you out there.

Dudes and dudettes...
GRE Bible is totally useless.. all the words and it's meanings are totally wrong.. For example take this analogy question:
DALLY:TIME::
shirk:task
squander:money
trespass:land
achieve:victory
harbor:safety
If you thought the answer was squander:money just like I did.. you're totally wrong.. it's supposed to be "achieve:victory" according to those guys.. What's this all about..
I think all the testimonials written on their website are all fake.. No one can get more than fifteen hundred studying this crap..
Anyways.. Fortunately I got a free copy of the GREBible.. all the passwords of the possible codes are listed too.. didn't have 2 pay a dime..  So if any of you need a copy of this.. just email me.. kingramsu@gmail.com

| Hi Kingramsu. First of all a warm welcome to the forum. May be the GRE bible is worthless (I don't think so after using it during my GRE), but you should not violate the copyright by distributing the passwords in public forums without their permission. I agree few antonyms and analogies are misguiding, that doesn't mean whole software package is useless. You should think before writing this kind of post. |

Getright is a download manager. After installed, you can open it, and enter URLs for it to download. Copy and paste into Getright the link you got from GreBible. It will automatically start download it. As your browser did, so will GetRight get stuck on the file. I don't know if the problem in GreBible's server is intentional or not. Anyhow, to work around the problem, you need to right click the downloading file, and segment the download to four parallel downloads just after you start downloading the file. For me it was enough, and the file was downloaded successfully the first time. If it still fails, try a few times. If you can't download it even with this scenario, contact me at myok12 at yahoo.com, and I will help you.

Hello,
If you get the link, get to download, install, everything works fine, then you are lucky.
There is no support team. I need refund from them. The software stopped working after 12 days. I get message"this is a pirated version of Gre Bible" though I have purchased it. Numerous emails and phone calls are unanswered.
Don't buy from.
I need my $30 back or I want the software to work.
Lemme know if any of you know a way out.

i ordered the grebible hastily and had the same problems with downloading and installation. thanks to myako's advice of using getright i succesfully downloaded the file, after 10 e-mails sent to the support group re: download errors, cancellation of order and refund requests; and humiliating myself in sharing this problem with a credit card personnel begging them to help me cancel my order.
hoooh.... I thought i just spent 30 US dollars for nothin, i mean literally getting nothing from it. i hope i get a good gre score. |

I've searched my emails but failed to locate it. It was quite a while ago and my email service don't automatically save outgoing messages.
Anyhow, the GREBIBLE will probably won't help you anyhow, because it just have questions in math; it is not a good source to learn from.

If I would rate the GREBIBlE I'd give it a NEEDS IMPROVEMENT grade. The software program need work and the content could be confusing. But A for effort in their attempt to make an interactive reviewer, I like the vocabulary exercises in the software, the quantitative part is not that helpful.
For those guys plannng to purchase GREBIBLE, you should check out other softwares first, which, I should have done. |

| Thank you guys for helping out. Someone told me to try and get the indian author, Agarwal for the quantitative section.... Myok, what study maternials did you use. can people suggest some quantitative materials for me pls? |
