I bought GRE bible, i used it for about a week. I caught a virus and had to reinstall windows which deleted GRE Bible. I couldn't not reinstall GRE Bible, i emailed them many times with no response. Apparently they want me to buy a new copy....ya right. my advice is to not buy from these people. they do not respond in any normal, if at all, amount of time. they cared less if i just bought bought and only used it 2 times. they have terrible business practices. good luck

Hey guys im new to the forum...
took the gre in aug,abysmal performance(Q-750,v-560,awa-4.0)...takin it up again in in oct..
hadn reviewed any words the first time(jus practiced the bigbook),so got the barrons and the grebible this time.... i got the s/w in half hours time after the payment....downloaded from the link,easy activation...no problemo...
comin to the s/w itself,ive completed the wordlist(100*30=3000),encountered 6 errors....more of typo mistakes,wrong definitons....but its definitely the quickest way to learn the words,and in context,u wont feel like u are actually pouring over 3000 words......kudos to them for that...(completed it in 22 days...techniques used are similar to that of Norman Lewis's WPME..)

math is too easy....
(the special focus on statistics,probability and PnC are quite good,imp if u are nearing 800 on the quant section..)

section tests have a few errors(none on math,i think 5 or 6 in the verbal)....will take up the cat tests in the bible in a few days time.....
on the whole,its like any other s/w in the market,own pros n cons....i dunno bout service and support(i did email the 6 errors in the vocab list,and i got 2 replies,they apologized and sent me the correct definition of the words...)...

on the whole a good s/w...great for learning words(actually learning them...not rote memorize..)

Jus follow these steps

Download gre bible from here:

and follow these steps after downloading it will work like a charm!!!!

if it does not want to install or after installation does not start read next:

here is vista install procedure fro flash ocx error there are two solutions

1 - install on windows xp will work correctly

2 - install on vista follwng steps

a - remove all adobe flash players installed from control panel, make uninstall all flash players.
b - 1 - right click setup exe chose properties -> compability mode windows xp sp2 ,
2 - privilege type at the bottom choose run as root,
3 - click show setting for all users which is at the bottom of run as root option and click it
4 - a new window will open apply b1 and b2 in this new window then click apply.

now go and run setup.exe as root (right click on exe -> run as root)

it will setup succesfully without ocx error.

then goto folder where you installed gre biible

mine is C:Program FilesGre BibleGreBible.exe

rigth click grebibble.exe apply desribed in b1 b2 b3 b4 again
then press aply and save all modifications.

now run as root grebible.exe it wil work:):):):):)

RECOVERING YOUR USER_ID FOR YOUR LEGAL COPY OF THE GREBIBLE V2.0.2

Read Carefully:

The steps for recovering your UserID (n.b. executable file has to be a legal copy from the Pellucid Learning System) can be a tidious one but with patient and time you will realize that it’s worth the effort. The first procedure for recovering your UserID involves running the executable file as an administrator. You have to run the program many time, this allows the software to randomly change the UserID unlike if you just run the program which does not change the UserID. It may take a very long time before your UserID is selected (but it’s worth the wait!). Once you recovered your UserID you can then use the serial key e-mailed to you when you first purchased the software. The program will install the necessary files to your local c drive in the folder called Program Files (x86) for the newer version of Windows OS (n.b. this was tested on Windows 7 64-bit).

STEP 1 Saving the file immediately

It is very important that you save your files right away for GreBible after installation. The folder for the GreBible is under the Program Files (x86) folder. Copy all the files for the GreBible from this folder when you first enter your serial key for your UserID and installed the software. This will save you from all the problems that I encountered. If you did not save your files right away then follow step two. Skip step 2 if you saved all the files from the GreBible folder after installing the software with your UserID and serial key.

STEP 2. Retrieving and saving the files

To open the Program Files (x86) and locate the GreBible folder double click on your local c drive find the Program Files (x86) folder and double click it. Look for the folder GreBible in your local Program Files (x86) folder. The folders in the Program Files (x86) folder are in alphabetical order, finding the GreBible folder in Program Files (x86) should be an ease. Once you have located the GreBible folder copy all the contents in the folder and save to an external drive to retrieve the files if needed to reinstall the GreBible software to your computer again or for installing the software on multiple computers.

STEP 3. Reinstalling or installing GreBible for multiple use

N.B. use this step to reinstall the GreBible onto your computer after reformatting (a.k.a reimaging) your hard disk (a.k.a local c drive) or to install the software multiple
times.

Make sure you have the setup.exe for the GreBible e-mailed to you from Pellucid Learning System. Run the setup.exe (samething as executable file) for the GreBible to reinstall the program onto your pc or another computer, the files will be installed in the folder mentioned in step two above. Copy the files you saved earlier when you entered your UserID and serial key to make the software work. Locate the GreBible folder in the Program Files (x86) folder and replace all the files with the ones you just copied. Right click the GreBible icon (the one with the different color books-red, blue, green picture) go to properties and select compatibility. Under compatibility mode select “run this program in compatibility mode for”-I chose to run in Windows XP (service Pack 2) compatibility mode. This may or may not work for you but I suggest try running in compatible mode using the other options in the drop box. Once you are finish hit the apply button. Overwriting the existing files in the GreBible folder with the ones you save and running in compatible mode should allow you to install the program multiple times and run it with no problem.
