Hello,
What does “without further adieu” mean in the excerpted transcript?
According to Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, “adieu” means “goodbye”, and the familiar idiom is “without further/more ado”. Thus, I can’t figure out which one to choose.
Here is an excerpt from the transcript:
