Hi,

My suggestion is to have a tech forum for people who need a little help in using the other forums - or in my case, sending/receiving PMs. I have a little problem now but don't know how to contact the administrator to ask for help. (The FAQ tell us several times to contact the administrator, but they don't tell us how to do it!) Someone sent me a personal message, but didn't include a subject head - and I can't open the message because evidently we have to click on the subject to open it. I tried to PM the person to let him/her know, but I haven't posted enough messages on the board (this is my third) to send a PM. So right now, another member probably thinks I am ignoring him or her!

At least, the message I am writing right now will bring me a little closer to five - then I will be able to send a PM explaining why I couldn't open the PM. :-)

Maybe someone will see this in the Feedback, Comments, and Suggestions Forum and tell me what to do, but it would be more appropriate to put it in a Tech forum.

Blessings!

Hello Sdianas,

I don't understand how there is no subject heading included with a PM sent through this board, because when the sender posts a PM they are reminded to include a subject header. I've just tried sending one with a blank subject and the system will not allow me to post it without a heading.
Can you check whether the header really is completely blank? In the past I have had PMs from learners where they have got around the 'cannot post without a subject' rule by just typing a full stop into the subject.

I am going to send you this message by PM too. If you still cannot open the original message, you can, if you wish, PM me the username of the person who is trying to contact you and I will let them know of your problem.
