hey, folks,i was asked to write a mechanism description essay.

the object is the craftsman pliers.

so i was wondering is it right to say:
the craftsman pliers are/or is a hardware tool that is used to grip bolts/nuts.

i m not sure about the plural form of pliers.

thanks in advance!
